THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — Last week brought a very public display of transphobia to our attention.

Todd Kincannon, a lawyer and the former leader of South Carolina’s Republican party via tweeter:

“There are people who respect transgender rights. And there are people who think you should all be put in a camp. That’s me.”

“I have plenty of compassion for trannies. They should all be locked up in mental institutions and their care paid for by the state.”

 “. . . transsexuals are sick freaks.”

“. . . creepy dickchicks . . .”

There’s more, but you get the gist. Kincannon is a reason why trans people are subject to violence and in need of hate crime protection laws.
